I am new here.
Ever visit a church or their website and think, "Could I fit in here?"
Our resounding answer is YES. Christ the King Church is a community of people from different ages, ethnic backgrounds and walks of life that have found new life in Jesus. Everyone is welcome here - it doesn't matter what you've done, what you look like or where you're from. We are looking forward to meeting you.
Here are some questions you might have:
What should I wear?
Wear whatever makes you comfortable! We don't place a lot of value on appearances. On a Sunday, most people will be wearing jeans and t-shirts or “business casual” clothes. You can feel free to wear whatever you'd like. But just so you know, if you wear a suit and tie, you might feel out of place!
What happens on a Sunday?
Our Sunday meetings are relaxed. At 10, our band will get up and lead us in singing some worship. During that time, people might stand up and pray or share something from the bible to encourage us all. Our worship time isn't a show. It’s an opportunity to encounter God. On a normal Sunday, our time of singing will be followed up by some practical, relevant teaching from the Bible by one of our leaders. We'll get you out of here before 11:45, but you're always invited to hang out for a while afterwards to get to know people.
What about my kids?
We’ve got activities for kids ages 1-11. Children ages 6-11 gather for “Energy,” a fast-paced meeting where they play games together and learn about God. We also have "Mustardseeds" for children ages 1-5 who may not be ready yet for a more formal meeting. You can sign your children in before the meeting begins and then drop them off after worship. They’ll be safe and have a great time.
What is Newfrontiers?
We’re part a worldwide family of churches called Newfrontiers. We feel God has connected our hearts together in mission, relationship, and shared values. Through our relationship with Newfrontiers, we benefit from gifted leaders from outside our church. Together we are caring for our world by reaching the nations with the message of grace. You can learn more about Newfrontiers at their website www.newfrontiersusa.org. Was your question left unanswered? Feel free to shoot us an email at
